The markets have made a smart recovery from the day’s and are trading with solid gains as strong buying momentum emerged among the selective scrips. The Power, Capital Goods, Oil & Gas and IT stocks are fronting the advancing stocks. However, the FMCG and Auto are still reeling under pressure. The BSE Sensex is trading above the 14600 level and the NSE nifty above the 4400 mark
JP Associate reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (7.87%) at Rs.169.20 while Reliance Communication reported the top loser down by (12.63%) at Rs.436.90.
At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 14,604.05 up by 248.30 points and Nifty is at 4,403.20 up by 70.25 points.
The BSE Mid Cap is higher by 64.10 points to 5,631.47 and the Small Cap advanced by 71.86 points to 6,984.65.
The BSE Power index is the one of the top gainer today trading with a gain of 98.33 points at 2,672.60. The main gainers are Suzlon Energy up by (4.98%) at Rs.233.90, Reliance Infra increased by (4.34%) at Rs.1,007 followed by NTPC and Reliance Power incline by (3.14%) and (3.06%) to Rs.175.80 and Rs.170.35 respectively.
The most active shares on NSE are Reliance Communication Ltd. trading at Rs.438.50 with a total traded quantity of 26492981 shares followed by Reliance Industries trading at Rs.2296 with a total traded quantity of 2644404 shares.
