Market slipped into negative territory and continues to trade on back foot on significant selling pressure. Market recovered during the mid session due to some bouts of buying, but is not able to sustain the momentum and again slides into red. NSE Nifty is trading around 4,500 level and BSE Sensex is around 15,100 mark. Bank, Capital goods, Consumer Durables, Power and Reality stocks are exhibiting weakness. Among the Sensex pack, 7 stocks are trading in green while 23 are in red.
At 1.31PM, the BSE Sensex is trading lower by 104.34 points at 15,107.79 and NSE Nifty is down by 28.69 points at 4,523.55.
The BSE Mid Cap is trading higher by 8.29 points at 5,943.82 along with Small Cap up by 16.39 points at 7,236.81.
