Indian Markets are off the days’ low on some buying on key stocks. Firm European markets are also contributing to the positive sentiment. Markets opened on weak note and struggled for support as ignored positive cues from US markets and reacted to the weak Asian cues. Most of the selling is seen in Metal, Capital Goods, Oil & Gas, Bank and Reality stocks. However, IT stocks managed to gain market favor. Among the Sensex pack, all 16 stocks are trading in green, while 14 are in red.
At 1.30PM, the BSE Sensex is trading lower by 14.73 points at 15,930.23 and NSE Nifty is down by 7.50 points at 4,474.80.
The BSE Mid Cap is trading lower by 16.25 points at 5,803.64 while Small Cap is up by 3.09 points at 6,985.86.
Lossers from the BSE are Sterlite In trading lower by (5.25%) at Rs589.70 in line with Tata Motors by (3.88%) at Rs419.50, BHEL by (2.10%) at Rs1,753.00, Tata Power by (1.71%) at Rs1,082.00, ICICI Bank Ltd by (1.48%) at Rs710.05, DLF Ltd by (1.36%) at Rs505.10, M&M Ltd by (1.12%) at Rs583.85 and NTPC Ltd (0.99%) at Rs179.60.

From the telecommunication sector, Reliance Com Ltd is trading up by (1.80%) at Rs405.35 along with Bharti Airtel by (1.23%) at Rs829.85. However, Tata Communications is trading down by (2.27%) at Rs439.70 and Idea Cellular by (0.42%) at Rs82.70.
In auto sector Maruti Suzuki is up by (1.51%) at Rs709.15 while Tata Motors is lower by (4.01%) at Rs418.95, Hero Honda Motors by (4.00%) at Rs827.15 and M&M Ltd by (1.93%) at Rs582.70.
From cement sector Ambuja Cement is trading lower by (0.72%) at Rs83.30, followed by Grasim Indus down by (0.11%) at Rs2,010.60 and ACC Ltd by (0.05%) at Rs601.10.

The company lost an auction to acquire Singapore firm Senoko Power to a consortium led by Japanese conglomerate Marubeni which agreed to pay $2.5 billion. The company’s plan to acquire Senoko was part of its strategy to emerge as one of the world’s leading electricity producing company
