The markets are on a momentum today and have gained further grounds as buying support continued across the board. The Realty, Power, Metal and Capital Goods stocks are in heavy demand today. The Realty Index has outperformed the benchmark index today and is trading with a gain of more than 2%.
The overall market breadth is positive as 1677 stocks are advancing while 862 stocks are declining in BSE.
Reliance Communication reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (4%) at Rs.415.80 while Mahindra & Mahindra reported the top loser down by (2.22%) at Rs.548.75.
At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 14,721.29 up by 177.55 points and Nifty is at 4,426.55 up by 58.30 points.
The BSE Mid Cap is higher by 73.94 points to 5,840.27 and the BSE Small Cap advanced by 66.89 points to 7,079.63.
The BSE Realty index is the one of the top performer today trading with a gain of 110.21 points at 5,227.71. The main gainers are Mahindra Life up by (4.14%) at Rs.469.50, Parsavnath increased by (2.77%) at Rs.118.60 followed by Unitech and India Bull Real inclined by (2.36%) and (2.33%) to Rs.168.90 and Rs.318.35 respectively.
The most active shares on NSE are Reliance Industries trading at Rs.2,252 with a total traded quantity of 1704933 shares followed by Reliance Industries trading at Rs.1,312.50 with a total traded quantity of 2092032 shares.
