The markets are trading with strong gains on sustained buying across the sectoral indices. The bulls rules the domestic market since the initial bell tracking the favoring cues from the global markets. The markets also got the boost on the back of comments from the Finance Secretary Ashok Chawla that the government''s record market borrowing programme would not pressure bond yields as well as interest rates Along with this, the revival in the monsoon this month also added to the sentiments.

The BSE Sensex is now trading above the 14,700 mark and the NSE Nifty near the 4360 mark.

Reliance Infra reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack, as it is trading up by (7.34%) at Rs. 1,138.30 while HUL reported the top loser trading down by (0.21%) at Rs. 266.25.
