The benchmark indices are trading positive but have trimmed their early gains. The fear continues to hinder the investor’s sentiment, as they are bracing for tough conditions ahead after the latest bearish signals for the global economy. U.S. GDP data is likely to show economic activity shrank by 0.5 percent in the third-quarter, more than initially estimated. The index heavyweight like Capital Goods, Metal, Oil & Gas and Bankex are trading in the green whereas Realty, Bankex and Auto trading in red. The market breath is favoring advance, as 1227 stocks are trading in green and about 717 stocks in red on the broader BSE.
At 11.35 AM, the BSE Sensex is gaining by 95.37 points at 8998.50 whereas NSE Nifty up by 39.20 points at 2747.45. The BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap are trading higher by 26.92 points and 23.41 points at 2929.21 and 3387.37 respectively.
Gainers from the NSE Nifty Pack are Tata Communications up by (9.91%) at Rs.436.50 along with Cairn india by (6.10%) at Rs.141.75, Siemens ltd by (4.36%) at Rs.294.70, HDFC bank by (4.15%) at Rs.863.50 and ONGC by (4.05%) at Rs.706.00.
Gainers from the BSE Sensex Pack are Sterlite Industries up by (3.63%) at Rs.222.40 along with ONGC by (3.56%) at Rs.703.10, Tata power by (3.31%) at Rs.675.10, Wipro Ltd by (3.30%) at Rs.241.35 and HDFC bank by (3.12%) at Rs.857.50.
