The markets are still trading lower as selling pressure continued across the board. The Realty, Banking, Oil & Gas, Metal and Auto stocks are on the seller’s ride today. The BSE Mid Cap and the Small Cap stocks are also trading lower with a loss of more than 3% each.The BSE Sensex is now trading above the 8,350 mark and the NSE Nifty below the 2,550 mark.
The overall market breadth is negative as 489 stocks are advancing while 1926 stocks are declining in BSE.
ICICI Bank reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading lower by (10.11%) at Rs.312.55 followed by Sterlite Industries down by (9.34%) at Rs.197.50.
At 2.32PM BSE Sensex is at 8,342.38 down by 431.40 points and Nifty is at 2,523.15 down by 111.85 points.
The BSE Mid Cap is lower by 117.08 points at 2,881.31 and BSE Small Cap slipped by 119.63 points to 3,373.49.
The BSE Realty index is the one of the top loser today trading with a loss of 124.36 points at 1,706.58. The main losers are HDIL down by (12.79%) at Rs.85.95, India Bull Real decreased by (8.44%) at Rs.93.30 followed by Ansal Infra and Unitech declined by (9.42%) and (6.92%) to Rs.31.25 and Rs.36.30 respectively.
The most active shares on NSE are Reliance Industries trading at Rs.1,062.65 with a total traded quantity of 5604574 shares followed by HDFC trading at Rs.1,269.15 with a total traded quantity of 2546894 shares.
