Market Opens On A Strong Note.

The market today opens strongly on the back of sharp rally in the global markets. All the BSE sectorial indices are trading in green in the opening trade. The strong buying is seen across the board mainly led by the Metal, Capital Goods, Bank and Realty stocks. The broader market is also trading with significant gains in the opening trade.

The overall market breadth is positive as 947 stocks are advancing whereas 176 stocks are declining on BSE.

Jai Prakash Associate reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It was up by 8.27% at Rs.217.25 followed by ICICI Bank up by 6.60% to Rs.818.60.

At 10.30AM, the BSE Sensex was up by 470 points at 15,303 and the Nifty was up by 135.75 points to 4,668.75.

The BSE Mid Cap increased by 121 points to 6,155 and the BSE Small Cap advanced by 130 points to 7,495.

BSE Capital Goods index advanced by 492.12 points to trade at 13,426. The top gainers are ABB inclined by (5.33%) to Rs.1,126, L&T increased by (3.69%) at Rs.2,867 followed by BHEL and Siemens up by (3.29%) and (2.29%) to Rs.1,886 and Rs.670 respectively.

BSE Metal index surged by 470.38 points to trade at 13,911.16. The major gainers are Sterlite Industries, Hindalco Industries Sail and NALCO grew by (4.75%), (4.35%), (3.68%) and (2.56%) to Rs.728, Rs.168, Rs.197 and Rs.441 respectively.
