Market Fall Continues, Sensex Slips Over 692 Points

MUMBAI: The Bombay Stock Exchange benchmark, Sensex which opened on a weak note this morning, slipped by over 690 points on heavy selling by funds amid nervous offloading by general investors.

The 30-share index, Sensex, which had fallen 489 points in early morning trade, tumbled 692.37 points to 18,321.33 in the first 30 minutes of trade.

Similarly, the National Stock exchange Nifty dropped by 208.05 points to 5,497.25 at 10 30 am today.
