After a weak positive opening, the key bench mark indices dived into red territory on account of mixed cues in the most of the Asian markets. The domestic investors are booking profits from the unexpected bounce which market had yesterday. However, to the some extent, traders are likely to be bearish due to lack of any specific news in the domestic arena, and weak sentiments across most of the Asian indices. At one end the selling interest has emerged in FMCG, HC and Oil & Gas stocks on the other buying is seen in Realty, CD and Metal counters. Further BSE FMCG and HC indices are leading the laggards list with the fall of 1.82% and 1.11% respectively, while the BSE Realty and CD are among the gainers with the gains of 2.79% and 1.90% respectively. Overall the market breadth is positive as 1112 stocks are trading in green while 486 stocks are in red territory.
At 11.30 AM, the BSE Sensex is down by 15.93 points at 9,692.57 whereas NSE Nifty declined by 23.9 points at 2,997.05. However, the BSE Mid Cap and Small Cap are trading higher by 46.07 points and 61.17 points at 3,002.3 and 3,307.8 respectively.
Losers from the BSE Sensex Pack are Sun Pharmaceutical down by (4.26%) to Rs. 1065, along with HUL by (3.86%) to Rs. 229, Bharti Airtel Ltd by (3.37%) at Rs. 604.7, ITC Ltd by (2.35%) at Rs. 180.45, TCS by (2.07%) at Rs. 528.8 and ONGC by (1.64%) at Rs. 766.95.
