After a horrifying week of sell off, the benchmark indices have witnessed a positive mood and some sign of confidence building. However it will be early to say so, as the previous week’s wound might take some time to heal. One of the most battered sectors Bankex is leading the race in current rally followed by Capital Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer durables stocks are trading higher. The market breadth is positive as 1355 stocks are trading in green while 832 stocks are in red.
At 11.32 AM, BSE Sensex is trading positive by 563.76 points at 11091 and NSE Nifty is trading up by 146.00 points at 3426. The BSE Mid Cap and BSE Small Cap are gaining by 96 points and 101 points at 3772.00 and 4457.15 respectively.
Gainers from the NSE Nifty Pack are ICICI Bank up by (20.21%) at Rs437.15 along with Suzlon Energy up by (9.55%) at Rs102.1, Gail India by (9.22%) at Rs255.25, Reliance Infra by (8.20%) at Rs556.00, Cairn India by (7.88%) at Rs163.00, HDFC Bank by (7.71%) at Rs1128.50 and Hindalco Industries by (7.12%) at Rs86.55.
