Indian Markets marches ahead on account of sustained buying interest seen across board and on the news of US investor Warren Buffet’s announcement of an infusion of $5 billion in Goldman Sachs Group. Positive opening of European markets is also contributing to the positive sentiments. Now NSE Nifty is back above 4,150 level and BSE Sensex is trading above 13,700 mark. Most of the indices are trading in green and among those, Metal, Capital Goods, Oil & Gas, Bank and Reality are supporting the markets. However IT and consumer Durables stocks are under pressure. Among the Sensex pack, 23 stocks are trading in green and 7 are in red.
At 1.32PM, the BSE Sensex is trading higher by 162.20 points at 13,732.51 and NSE Nifty is up by 53.95 points at 4,180.85.
The BSE Mid Cap and Small cap are trading higher by 33.11 points and 42.46 points at 5,146.43 and 6,135.43 respectively.
Gainers from the BSE Sensex are Sterlite Indus up by (9.19%) at Rs491.30 along with HDFC Bank Ltd (3.48%) at Rs1,280.80, DLF Ltd (2.26%) at Rs403.50, Reliance Infra (2.16%) at Rs882.50, BHEL (1.89%) at Rs1,656.80, ICICI Bank Ltd (1.88%) at Rs627.50 and Grasim Indus by (1.81%) at Rs1,925.00.

In auto sector M&M Ltd is higher by (0.94%) at Rs824.95 followed by Hero Honda Motors by (0.34%) at Rs830.75 and Maruti Suzuki by (0.33%) at Rs703.20 while Tata Motors is trading lower by (1.98%) at Rs385.90.
From cement sector by Grasim Indus is trading up by (2.17%) at Rs1,933.20, along with Ambuja Cements trading higher by (1.81%) at Rs84.55 while ACC Ltd is down by (0.06%) at Rs626.15.
Grasim Industries is trading higher by (1.81%) at Rs1,925.00 as company is planning to merger with its subsidiary Vikram Sponge Iron.
