The market is facing the volatility since the initial bell due to the mixed cues from the Asian markets and the expiry of the derivates contract tomorrow led the investors to take calculated steps to book their positions. The market breadth is weak as 1300 stocks are trading in red while 982 stocks are trading in green.
At 11.33AM, BSE Sensex is trading higher by 25.72 points at 16,301.32 and NSE Nifty is trading flat at 4,860.35. The BSE Mid Cap is trading up by 11.94 points at 6,690.85 while the BSE Small Cap is trading lower by 14.89 points at 8,195.19.
Losers from the BSE are Alstom Projects trading down by (3.72%) at Rs545.70 in line with India Infoline by (3.40%) at Rs732.10, Jindal Steel by (3.33%) at Rs2132, Jai Corp Ltd by (3.16%) at Rs614.50, Oriental bank by (3.11%) at Rs177.50, BOI by (3.09%) at Rs295.10, Bhel by (2.61%) at Rs1615, Indian bank by (2.39%) at Rs122.60, Cairn India by (2.38%) at Rs291.25 and Century Textiles by (2.37%) at Rs697.

HUL is trading higher by (1.92%) at Rs236.8. The company has hiked prices in nearly all categories of personal care and home cares products.
Satyam Computer is trading up by (2.27%) at Rs509.8. The company and GE Healthcare has entered into a comprehensive agreement to support customers deploying healthcare IT solutions based on GE centricity enterprise software. The companies will join the forces to plan, design and implement infrastructures for global healthcare providers.
Tata Communications is trading up by (1.15%) at Rs507.6 as the company has entered into an agreement with Emirates telecommunications Corporation to deliver enterprise grade network services in United Arab Emirates. The two companies will provide ‘secure, scalable and flexible’ Ethernet and other connectivity solutions.
