Market Off The Day’s High.

The market is still trading with significant gains with buying support continued across the board. The major buying witnessed in the Bank, IT, Consumer Durables and Realty stocks. The Mid Cap and Small Cap stocks are also trading with gain of more than 1.5%.

The overall market breadth is positive, as 2052 stocks are advancing whereas 573 stocks that are declining.

Jai Prakash Associate reported the top gainer from the BSE Sensex pack. It is trading higher by (6.08%) at Rs.239.05 while Reliance Energy the top loser down by (1.58%) at Rs.1,268.

At 2.31PM BSE Sensex is at 15,868 up by 241 points and Nifty is at 4,791.75 up by 52.20 points.

The BSE Mid Cap is higher by 77 points to 6,472 while the Small Cap advanced by 102 points to 7,964.

The BSE Bank index is the top performer today. It is trading with a gain of 274.18 points at 7,917.73. The main gainers are ICICI Bank up by (4.49%) at Rs.792, SBI increased by (3.39%) at Rs.1678 followed by HDFC Bank and PNB advanced by (3.13%) and (2%) to Rs.1351 and Rs.509 respectively.

The most active shares on NSE are Reliance trading at Rs.2394.70 with a total traded quantity of 2781887 shares followed by Reliance Capital trading at Rs.1264 with a total traded quantity of 3461127 shares.
