NEW DELHI: The government on Tuesday made no changes in the base price or tariff values of palm and crude soyabean oils for the next fortnight.
“The tariff values of six palm group oils, crude soyabean oil and poppy seeds remain unchanged,” an official release said. The tariff values are fixed every fortnight to curb under -invoicing by the importers.
However, the base price or tariff value has not been revised since July last year in order to maintain stability in the domestic prices. The tariff rate for crude palm oil (CPO) remains at $447 per tonne, while that for crude soybean oil is $580.
