ICICI Prudential Life signs MoU with South Indian Bank

KOCHI: ICICI Prudential Life Insurance on Tuesday entered into a strategic partnership with Thrissur based South Indian Bank (SIB).

The MoU in this regard was exchanged between Poonam Bhardwaj, Senior Vice President, Customer Service Operations, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance and Alex Mathew, SIB General Manager.

The partnership would provide policyholders of ICICI Prudential Life the convenience of paying their first as well as renewal premiums in cash at over 296 branches of the SIB in Kerala.

Later speaking to reporters, Poonam Bhardwaj described the partnersip as another step towards building a seamless customer service experience. The company would be able to reach out to a wider customer base and provide additional value added services, she said.

Alex Mathew said the bank believes in providing one stop financial solution to the customers. The partnership will enable the bank to provide one more value added service to the customers. The facility was open to all.

ICICI Prudential Life has also announced similar institutional tie-ups for cash management solutions with the e-governance initiative of the Government of Rajasthan (e-mitr and the Department of Posts in some states in the country.
