Ahluwalia Contracts bags 3 oders worth Rs 387 crore

MUMBAI: Ahluwalia Contracts India has bagged three contracts worth of Rs 387 crore. The first is a project valued at Rs 229.7 crore for upgradation and renovation of SPM Swimming Pool Complex, New Delhi, a venue for Commonwealth Games in 2010.

The company also bagged the Rs 688-crore Commonwealth Games 2010 Village Residential project recently.

The second contract is valued at Rs 111.6 crore from Chalet Hotels (K Raheja Corp) for civil & structural work at hotel "Renaissance" at Powai, Mumbai, and third a Rs 45.89-crore order from Phoenix Mills for a hotel in Mumbai.

Including these orders, the total order book of Ahluwalia Contracts stands at Rs 3150 crore.

However, the order wins did not have a positive impact on the company’s shares. At 10:26 am, Ahluwalia Contracts shares were down 0.15 per cent at Rs 357 on BSE.
