Sensex up 529pts; Bharti, ICICI Bank lead

The Sensex opened with a positive gap of 302 points at 19,337, and soon touched a high of 19,625 in opening trades. The index is now up 529 points at 19,564.

All index stocks are in positive zone.

Bharti Airtel and ICICI Bank have zoomed 4.5% each to Rs 871 and Rs 1,230, respectively.

Tata Steel has soared over 4% to Rs 868. Infosys and Tata Motors have surged nearly 3.5% each to Rs 1,685 and Rs 716, respectively.

BHEL, HDFC Bank, HDFC, Larsen & Toubro, NTPC, Reliance, Reliance Energy, Satyam, TCS and Wipro are up 2-3% each.
