NEW DELHI: National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) on Friday announced the final settlement prices (FSP) for red chilli, maize and turmeric for October contract.
"NCDEX has fixed FSP for red chilli at Rs 4,249.30 per quintal while the prices of maize and turmeric would be Rs 657.45 per quintal and Rs 2,041.30 per quintal respectively," NCDEX said in a statement, adding contract of these three commodities ended on October 18.
In case of delivery default, NCDEX would debit the penalty of 2.5 per cent from the seller's account on the day of the "delivery and funds pay in pay out". While the difference between the final settlement price and the last available spot price prevailing on the day of the delivery, if any, would be settled on the next working day, it added.
