Sterlite Optical Board declares dividend

Sterlite Optical Technologies Ltd has informed that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on April 30, 2007, inter alia, has declared dividend @ 15%.Further the Company has informed that Mr. A R Narayanaswamy (Independent Director) wasinducted into the Board of Directors of the Company at its Meeting held on April 30,2007.
